Start with something useful.
Ohm's law
E = I × R; I = E ÷ R; R = E ÷ I. Use volts, amperes, and ohms consistently.
With resistance unchanged, more voltage produces more current. With voltage unchanged, more resistance reduces current. State what is held constant.
Weight × arm—not distance alone
Moment = weight × arm. The arm is measured from the specified datum; a longer arm changes the moment even if weight is unchanged.
Track both signs: adding weight aft of datum adds positive moment; removing that weight reverses the moment change.
